Biography - Emilia V Butu

Professor Butu has almost 25 years of experience in education, research, and software design. She is specialized in the development and project management of software and web-based learning applications. She has extensive experience in adult education, using web-based learning systems, educational gaming and simulation techniques. She has held various positions in higher education, including director for online learning, dean, and full time professor. She has also taught as adjunct faculty at various universities in Greater Washington Area in the fields of Business Management,Computer Science and Information Systems. Professor Butu is working on her PhD in Computer Science at George Mason University, and she has MBA in Business Management, as well as MS in Computer Science.
