Biography - Saundra T McDavid

My BS is in Business Administration from the University of Kansas. (For all of the basketball fans: Go Jayhawks!) I received a law degree and a MBA from St. Louis University.

Since graduating from law school I have worked both as an attorney and as an IT consultant. I was in the right place at the right time and was able to ride the "dot com" wave and work with exciting companies like Anheuser Bush and MicronPC. After the bubble burst I went back to practicing law. Recently I ventured into Veteran's Administration law and I am currently chairman of the Veteran's Benefits Foundation, which helps veterans receive their benefits from the VA.

I published my first novel, Sumerity, which is a fiction story revolving around the prophecies of 2012. It is an eBook with Amazon.com. The entire experience was enjoyable for me and novel number two is currently underway. I love talking about books and encourage everyone to recommend their favorite. One of my students recently recommended Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand, which is a fantastic book that has now been turned into a movie. I highly recommend it.

In my free time, I enjoy camping with my family, competing in dressage on my horse, "Angus," and playing Rock Band with my children.
