Biography - Bradley W Johnson


Bradley (Brad) Johnson received his Ph.D. in Psychology with a specialization in Educational Psychology from Capella University. He received a Masters in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma, a B.S. in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, and an A.A.S. in Aircraft Maintenance Technology from the Community College of the Air Force. Doctor Johnson holds a Florida Teaching Certificate for Elementary Education (K-6), Exceptional Student Education (K-12), and an Autism Spectrum Disorder Endorsement. Doctor Johnson currently works as a Communication and Social Skills Site Coach supporting teacher and students in grades Pre-K through 5th grade.

Dr. Johnson is an adjunct faculty member with Kaplan University teaching various psychology courses online. He is also retired from the U. S. Army and previously served in the U. S. Air Force and Missouri Air National Guard. Dr. Johnson served in Desert Storm as a Multi-Disciplined Counter-Intelligence Analyst and also had the opportunity to instruct at the Army Intelligence Center and School. The experiences of the military, instructing online courses and challenges working with faculty, students, and families have given Dr. Johnson a thorough understanding of the need to balance the virtual learning environment, work, family, and personal achievement.
