My background includes a Doctorate of Philosophy degree in Finance, from Florida Atlantic University which I received in 2009. I have taught finance and economic courses at Florida Atlantic University, Lynn University, Barry University and American Public University. I also hold Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Information Systems from New York University.
Prior to returning to academia to pursue my doctorate I worked in the insurance and finance industries. My former employers include Marsh Inc., a large insurance brokerage firm, Oppenheimer, a financial brokerage firm and OpenLink a trading and risk management software firm. Upon completion of my doctorate I have conducted courses in Corporate Finance, Managerial Finance, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics and International Business.
My research has focused on corporate finance, international finance and corporate control. I have published an article in Financial Review and have an upcoming articles in both the International Journal of Managerial Finance and the Journal of Financial and Economic Practice.
