Biography - Samuel E Lee

Mr. Lee holds a Master's of Law in Admiralty, with distinction, from Tulane University, a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina, and a Bachelors of Science from The Citadel. He is a maritime attorney, and he deals with a wide array of issues and clients within the industry. His research and writing has largely been in the area of international and domestic oil pollution liability regimes, though he enjoys all things related to the industry.

Prior to completing his post-graduate law degree and J.D., Mr. Lee was a member of the U.S. Army. After graduating from The Citadel, Mr Lee enlisted in the Army as an 11-bang, bang. While finishing up 11B-OSUT, the tragedies of September 11, 2001 struck the nation. Thereafter, he opted for the S.F. route and finished his tour in the Army as an 18C. He is also a veteran of O.E.F., and he loves a good story.

Currently, Mr. Lee lives along the Gulf Coast, where he works full-time as a practicing attorney in the maritime industry.
