David  Jimenez

David Jimenez holds an A.A.S. in Intelligence and Imagery Analysis from the Community College of the Air Force, a B.S. in Management and Human Resources from Park College, and an M.A. in Human Resource Development from Webster University. A United States Air Force retiree, Mr. Jimenez was awarded the DMSM, MSM, and several Commendation medals. He is a Supervisory Intelligence Research Specialist with Immigration and Customs Enforcement Headquarters in Washington D.C., and served with ICE and with the U.S. Border Patrol in El Paso, Texas. He previously served as the Director of Training, Education, and Career Development for the International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts (IALEIA). Mr. Jimenez’ recent publications include articles on Corporate Intelligence and Robert W. Pelton for the Sharpe Reference, Encyclopedia of Intelligence Counterintelligence. He also authored articles on Civil War intelligence and espionage, the Black Chamber, William Kampiles, Keyhole SIGINT Satellite, and Room 40 for James Madison University in their upcoming 2011 American Espionage - A Historical Encyclopedia. He moderated the Law Enforcement Intelligence Training Seminar, 2005 Annual IALEIA Conference, lectured at the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime conference on Criminal Intelligence in Belgrade, Serbia in December 2006, and presented a seminar on Law Enforcement Intelligence at the October 2008 International Association of Crime Analysts in St Petersburg, Fl. He also presented/lectured on behalf of AMU during the annual International Association For Intelligence Education at the University of Maryland in 2009, and participated as a panel member with the National Intelligence University, Office of the Director of National Intelligence in 2010. He is an active member of the Homeland Security Intelligence Committee of the Intelligence and National Security Alliance, and was nominated in 2011 as Co-Chair for the Washington D.C. Chapter of the International Association for Intelligence Education.
