Vicki Galloway Harsh received her Bachelor's degree (cum laude) from the University of Colorado at Boulder, double-majoring in English and German. She subsequently completed her Master's degree in Comparative Literature at the same institution, with an emphasis in Middle High German. As part of her schooling, Ms. Harsh had the privilege of attending both the University of Regensburg in Southern Germany, and of completing graduate work at the Georg-August University in central Germany. Subsequently, she served as an intern for an M.d.B. (member of the German Bundestag) in Bonn. After a decade of working as a faculty trainer and online teaching and learning mentor for faculty from many institutions, Ms. Harsh now teaches college-level German exclusively online.
To gain a perspective for Ms. Harsh's teaching philosophy, students should feel free to search the internet for articles, conference presentations, and blog entries that she has written on the subject of online teaching and learning. When not teaching German, Ms. Harsh spends her time in Denver, Colorado and Wheatland, Wyoming with her two children and husband, as well as reading, gardening, and horseback riding.
