Biography - Maureen Horowitz

Maureen Horowitz holds a bachelor's degree in literature/writing from Columbia University and a master's degree in library and information studies from Florida State University. As a master's candidate, Maureen maintained a dual concentration in information architecture and knowledge management. The dual concentration fit nicely with her interest in arranging and providing information in ways that are accessible to the greatest possible number of people. Maureen also received a graduate certificate in website design from Florida State's library science program.

Maureen has explored a varied career path, but she has always returned to her passion for teaching. In fact, her first teaching experience was as a high school intern.
In her free time, Maureen loves to read, cook, bake, and spend time outside.
