Eric Kallio is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a B.S. in Professional Aeronautics and an MAS in Aviation Management. He is currently writing his PhD dissertation with Northcentral University on the topic of commercial air carrier delays. Eric has served in the U.S. Army since 1993, and currently is a warrant officer working as a UH-60 helicopter maintenance test pilot and the facility logistics and property book officer for the Louisiana National Guard Aviation Support Facility, overseeing parts warehouses and budgeting. Additional responsibilities include the development and coordination of logistics and transportation systems for forward operating units. He has also spent a few years working as a commercial helicopter pilot for the offshore oil companies between active duty tours. In his free time Eric enjoys scuba diving, and is certified as a Divemaster, as well as flying an airplane he built, the Vans RV-10.
