David Whitehouse holds the Bachelor of Music from Hope College in Holland, Michigan and the Master of Music from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois. He was John Browning’s assistant while at Northwestern and has given piano and organ concerts in many parts of the United States.
Mr. Whitehouse has been teaching in the Humanities Division at APUS since June of 2010.
He published an article in Clavier magazine on how to learn modern piano compositions. He has lead choir residencies in English cathedrals, notably Truro, Gloucester, and Norwich.
Hobbies include cooking, reading, gardening, animals, working out, running, cycling, composing, and woodworking.
Mr. Whitehouse is married with three children.
He belongs to the American Guild of Organists and the Association of Anglican Musicians.
