Vlad Dolgopolov is a higher education administrator and a faculty member teaching in the fields of economics, business, management, and quantitative/qualitative analysis.
Originally from a small town in the south of Russia, Vlad first came to the United States in 1992, where he graduated from Arapahoe High School in Littleton, CO. After college stints at American colleges in Moscow, Russia, and Athens, Greece, Vlad earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics/Finance and Psychology at the University of Indianapolis. He received the degrees of Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from Clark University (Worcester, MA), where he wrote a doctoral thesis in the subject that intersected the fields of public finance and econometrics. While working full-time as a higher education administrator, Vlad continued his graduate studies at Harvard University, where he earned the degree of Master of Liberal Arts (A.L.M.) in Management with concentration in Managing Non-Profit Organizations. He is an author and co-author of several publications in the field of public economics which examine government and public servants' behaviors and motivations.
Throughout his career as an educator and college administrator, Vlad taught at several institutions of higher education as a visiting or adjunct professor, including Lesley University (Cambridge, MA); Clark University (Worcester, MA); Assumption College (Worcester, MA); Fitchburg State College (Fitchburg, MA); University of Indianapolis (Athens, Greece); and Mildred Elley School (Albany, NY). He currently serves as a Vice President for Academic Affairs at Antonelli College System, a two-year college with campuses in Ohio, Mississippi, and online where he is responsible for the academic direction of the institution, including curriculum, faculty, and quality assurance.
