Eloy E. Cuevas is senior US Army officer assigned to the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Intelligence) at the Pentagon. Prior to his arrival in 2009, Eloy served as an U.S. Army Research Fellow at the RAND Corporation’s Arroyo Center in Santa Monica, CA. Over the last 19 years, Eloy has served in a variety of tactical, operational, strategic, and interagency Intelligence positions in the United States, the Republic of Korea, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Eloy is a graduate of the US Army War College’s Defense Strategy Course; Joint Forces Staff College; US Army Command and General Staff College; the Joint Military Intelligence College; and the MI Officers Basic and Advanced Courses. His graduate education includes two Masters Degrees from the National Defense Intelligence College and Webster University in Strategic Intelligence and Human Resources Development, and Doctorate level courses from the RAND Corporation’s Graduate School.
Eloy co-authored studies while assigned to RAND that have been disseminated to the Intelligence Community, in addition, to developing or reviewing strategic, operational, and tactical-level intelligence and policy reports and findings.
