Lieutenant – United States Coast Guard Reserves (25 Years)

As an Adjunct Professor Todd A. Remusat is currently a US Coast Guard Reservist who is on an Extended Active Duty (EAD) contract with the Coast Guard located in Arlington, VA.

His civilian employer, Innovative Health Application, LLC., was awarded the Environmental Safety, Health and Security contract at the Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station located at beautiful Merritt Island, FL.

He has worked on the following programs for NASA and US Air Force: Space Shuttle (already expired), Titan (already expired), Atlas (already expired), Delta, Athena Vehicles and the International Space Station. He has been at the Space Center for approximately 15 years.

He has twenty-five years as a veteran of U.S. Coast Guard Reserves and Naval Reserve. His most recent deployment was in January 2010; where he spent several months providing Humanitarian Relief Aid for the people of Haiti after a devastating 7.0 magnitude earthquake.

He has held many positions within the Coast Guard and provided an abundance of Port Security and Coastal facility inspections. His tour of duty has taken him to numerous locations throughout the US and overseas to include Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, Kuwait, Iraq, Central America, and various locations throughout Asia.

He received his AS Degree in Radiation Protection Technologies from Central Florida Community College, Ocala, FL; BA Degree in Environmental & Growth Management Studies from Rollins College, Hamilton Holt School, Winter Park, FL; and Masters is in Homeland Security “Crisis Management” from American Military University.

He is currently working towards his Doctorate in Homeland Security “Leadership and Policy” through Northcentral University, Prescott, AZ.
