Biography - Christopher J Dolan


Dr. Chris J. Dolan his Ph.D. in government and international studies from the University of South Carolina in 2002, M.A. in political science from Northeastern University in 1997, and his B.A. in political science from Siena College in 1995. His main academic areas of focus and interest include U.S. national security policy, intelligence studies, the formulation and conduct of U.S. foreign policy, and the politics and history of American foreign relations. He is the author of In War We Trust, co-editor of Striking First, and co-author of The Presidency and Economic Policy and has published articles in PS Political Science & Politics, Foreign Policy Analysis, International Studies Perspectives, Politics and Policy, Politics and Ethics Review, Policy Studies Journal, International Politics, Congress and the Presidency, Review of Policy Research, White House Studies and book chapters in a number of edited volumes. At the present time, he is engaging in a geopolitical and geoeconomic analysis of America's pursuit of energy, as well as researching intelligence and security issues, U.S. counterinsurgency and stabilization policy, and geostrategic power balancing.
