Chelsy Castro graduated cum laude with her BA degree from the University of Miami where she triple majored in Economics, Spanish Literature and International Studies, dedicating part of her undergraduate degree to Peace Studies at the Universidad de Granda in Granada, Spain.
She earned her Juris Doctor at the American University Washington College of Law, focusing on human rights and gender. She later went on to earn an MA in International Politics from the American University School of International Service.
As both an attorney and a consultant, Chelsy has served in the fields of conflict resolution, immigration and international and gender development. She has worked with and for the Federal Government, government contractors, foreign governments, small NGOs and litigation firms.
