Biography - Delicia L Fellers


Dr. Delicia Fellers is currently a lead high school counselor. She has been in the field of education for over twelve years. Before transferring to the field of counseling, Delicia taught middle and high school English/Language Arts and Social Studies for eight years in a large public school system in Atlanta, Ga.

Dr. Fellers has been teaching for over four years at the college level. She comes to APUS with experience in both the traditional and virtual classroom. She teaches counseling courses in the College of Education. In addition to her working and teaching, Dr. Fellers serves as the Region 6 Chair for the Georgia School Counselors Association.

Dr. Fellers is a graduate of Kent State University in Kent, Ohio (B.S. English), Clark Atlanta University (M.A. School Counseling), and University of Sarasota/Argosy (Ed.S. School Counseling and Educational Leadership) (Ed.D. Educational Leadership).

Dr. Fellers resides in the Atlanta area with her husband and stepdaughter. In her spare time, she loves to travel, read, and spend time with her family.
