Jennifer Williams holds a bachelor's degree in American History with a minor in Historical Archaeology from Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia and a master's degree in American History and Public History from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. She has worked at the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and the Great Lakes Historical Society (Vermilion, Ohio) in the past. Currently, Jennifer is adjunct faculty at APUS and Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio. Her research interests include the Tlingit of Southeast Alaska and Great Lakes history. She is a regular contributor on historical and culinary topics to US Daily Review. She also volunteers as an assistant prep chef at Laurel Run Cooking School in Vermilon, Ohio and will assume teaching chef responsibilities at the New Day Family Resource Center in the Fall of 2012. Her hobbies include curling (Bowling Green Curling Club), photography, and gardening. She is married with one daughter.
