Jeremy Lawhorn earned his BA in International Studies from Old Dominion University. While an undergraduate student, he studied abroad in Japan, China, South Korea, and conducted field research in Thailand. He obtained his MA in Diplomacy and International Conflict Management from Norwich University. He is preparing for his PHD studies while working full time as an Officer in the United States Army.
Professor Lawhorn has traveled to over 16 countries throughout the North East, South East, and Central Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Professor Lawhorn currently works in the Special Operations community which allows him to continue to learn and travel around the world.
He is married and has a son on the way. In his free time he enjoys reading, studying foreign languages, and traveling.
