Biography - Maryam Pirnazar

My name is Maryam Pirnazar, and I have lived in sunny California most of my life. I went to the University of California, Irvine, were I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I decided to further my education, and received a Master's degree in Public Health. I am also a Certified Health Education Specialist and a member of the American Public Health Association. I have worked at hospitals, health care agencies, and for various NIH funded research studies on cancer. My current research interests include breast cancer, celiac disease, and smoke cessation. I have several years of experience teaching online and I love it!


I am married and in my spare time I like to cook, spend time with my family, read, travel, swim, and go running.
