
Kerry L. Muehlenbeck is currently a residential faculty member in the Administration of Justice Studies Department at Mesa Community College, Mesa, Arizona. Kerry has been an adjunct instructor since 1995 at other institutions, to include, Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Park College, and Arizona State University. In addition, she has served as a Deputy County Attorney in the Sex Crimes Division at the Pima County Attorney’s Office in Tucson, Arizona, a Deputy Judge Advocate General for the United States Air Force, and also as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Saginaw, Michigan. She is admitted to practice law in the states of Michigan and Arizona.
Kerry is also currently assigned as the Staff Judge Advocate, Joint Forces Headquarters, Arizona National Guard, Phoenix, Arizona. In that capacity, she acts as the senior legal advisor to the Air Commander, the Director of the Joint Staff, and the Adjutant General for the State of Arizona. In addition, Kerry instructs at national level legal seminars for the Air National Guard, is a contributing editor for the Air National Guard Commander’s Legal Deskbook, and serves as the State Headquarters Liaison for the TJAG ANG Council.
Kerry received her B.S. from Northwestern University, her J.D. from Indiana University School of Law, her LL.M. from the University of San Diego School of Law, and her Ph.D. from Arizona State University. In her spare time, Kerry enjoys yoga, motorcycling, and running the trails of Arizona with her Catahoula, Dillon.
