My name is Dr. Marian Leerburger and I have been teaching for various Universities and Distance Learning programs since 1989. I have two masters (one from American University in International Affairs, Asian Studies, and International Development, and one from Georgetown University in National Security Studies, Technology, and Soviet Studies) and a Ph.D. (from University of Maryland in Political Science, with majors in International Relations and National Security Studies) , both earned while working full time, usually on shift work in a crisis management cell of Department of Defense. I also have a family, and I truly understand what attempting to complete a Masters degree while having work and family obligations can be like. I have taught a variety of subjects, including thesis writing, political science, and business courses, and I have lived and worked overseas in isolated areas.
