Biography - James J McCarthy

Jim McCarthy is currently an Adjunct Professor at American Public University in the Finance and Accounting Department. Jim holds an MBA from Suffolk University in Boston, MA, a BA from Fairfield University, a Certificate in Management from Harvard University and attended the Columbia University Graduate School of Management Executive Education program. Jim held various positions with Delta Air Lines including both field and corporate management and executive positions. His most recent position was president of a Delta subsidiary company. He is experienced in a wide range of business situations including mergers, acquisitions, high growth enterprises, and corporate restructuring.

Jim currently provides management consulting services in the aviation industry and in distressed or workout situations. He is also a member of the Industry Advisory Board for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
