
Carlos G. Soltero is a Full Time Faculty Instructor at APUS. Prof. Soltero holds a BS in Business Management, with a concentration in Computer Information Systems, from Florida Southern College. He also received an MS in International Relations, with a concentration in National Security Affairs, from Troy University in July 2007.
Currently, Prof. Soltero is part of the International Board at the Latin American Policy Journal where he also acts as as one of the journal Reviewers. Furthermore, Prof. Soltero is also an APUS Certifed Prior Learning Assestment Evaluator. Moreover, Prof. Soltero is the Course Lead Instructor for the POLS214 'Diversity/Ethnic Studies' course at APUS. Additionally, he is also working on his second Master’s Degree, an MBA with a concentration in Computer Information Systems at Strayer University.
Employment history includes owning and operating Alpha Scuba Dive Center, serving as a Business Analyst / Executive Representative for NorthStar Technologies, and working in supervisory capacities with the U.S. Army.
Hobbies include scuba diving, computer/console games and collecting military figures. He enjoys movies, music, reading and cooking. Family wise, Mr. Soltero is the proud father of three beautiful little girls.
