Biography - Alistair Connor

Hello Everyone!

My first name is Alistair, but I go by Marshall. My parents named me after Alistair Cooke from Masterpiece Theater. They only had three channels when my mother was pregnant with me so on Sundays that was just about the only thing on!

I live in the beautiful South Carolina lowcountry. For you Marines out there who think it isn't very beautiful, I promise it's not all sand gnats and 100 percent humidity. I love my state and wouldn't live anywhere else in America!

As for my background, I am a product of public schools, and a very poor, rural school at that. I twice graduated from Francis Marion University in Florence, SC. Once with a BS in History and then with an M.Ed.

I love teaching at APUS/AMU and I hope that each and every one of you has a great experience here! I teach the introductory course (COL100) that each of you must take when you first start. I hope to get to know each of you, and I wish you good luck!
