Biography - Susan Desverreaux

S. Denise Desverreaux graduated from the University Of Maryland, Baltimore County with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and Psychology. She then received her MEd in Reading from Towson University. She taught elementary school for 11 years before she took a leave of absence due to transfer of her military spouse. After moving to Washington State, then North Carolina, she is back living in Maryland, near DC, with her husband and three children. Her 3 children keep her busy with soccer, baseball, scouts and homework (a lot of homework!)

When not spending time with her kids, she enjoys reading, walking,gardening and going to the beach.
