Biography - Jennifer McCoy


Jennifer McCoy is an adjunct professor in Sports and Heath Sciences. Jennifer has been teaching at APUS since 2009. Her teaching interests include exercise programming and testing, sports nutrition, sport and drugs and injury rehabilitation and reconditioning.

Jennifer holds the position of Assistant Athletic Trainer at Texas A&M University. She has also worked as an Athletic Trainer at the high school level and with the United States Marine Corps. She is a nationally Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, emphasis in Sports Medicine, and a Master of Science in Nutrition Science, both from Brigham Young University.

Jennifer and her husband have one daughter who is the highlight of their life. She enjoys gardening, sewing, making jewelry and is a fitness enthusiast.
