David's military service included time as a trial counsel (prosecutor), military magistrate, defense attorney, and instructor at the U.S. Army Military Police School. David has been a college professor for more than 25 years, working mainly with pre-law students. He has served as the Debate Coach and Director of Forensics at several institutions and his students have won three National Championships.
Published many articles on Tax Law for BNA, and on the free speech rights of the homeless in the Free Speech Yearbook in 1991.

Married for almost 20 years to Melissa, an attorney for the VA in Dayton. Two children from a prior marriage, and four grandchildren.
A collector of Star Trek memorabilia and chess sets. Loves to read, mostly science fiction. Does lots of theatre, including professional credits, on stage and behind the scenes.
