Karine  Blackett

Hello, my name is Dr. Karine Blackett (Kari).

My interest in higher education has taken me around the world. I studied at the University of Malta and worked in Kenya, Africa through my undergraduate degree with The University of Minnesota. While in Kenya, I studied the effects of drought and deforestation on rural women's lives.

I hold an English Language Teaching Certificate from New School University in New York and I taught English as a second language in Southern Japan. My Master's degree is from Colorado State University in Student Affairs in Higher Education. My doctorate is in Education Administration with a focus in Higher Education from the University of South Dakota.
