Biography - Adrienne Stafford


Adrienne Stafford is is a PhD candidate in Social and Political Theory and Comparative Politics at The New School for Social Research in New York City. She also holds MPA and MA degrees in Middle East Studies and Gender and Economic Development from the University of Utah. Her BA is in International Relations from San Francisco State University. Prior to teaching at American Public University, she taught at other online universities, Eugene Lang College, and assitant-taught at the University of Utah.

Adrienne is near completion of her dissertation,"Representations of Economy in Social Critical Thought", which primarily deals with the influence of economic representations on critical theories of social justice. Like her dissertation, her research and teaching interests reflect a rich interdisciplinary background in social and political theory, feminist theories, gender and multicultural studies, political economy, and theories of globalization.

Adrienne Stafford currently lives between New York City and Las Vegas.
