Biography - Elizabeth R Orehovec


Elizabeth Orehovec graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Miami. She went on to receive her Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from the University of South Carolina. Elizabeth is an Admissions Coordinator in the undergraduate admissions office at the University of South Carolina-Columbia. She also teaches the freshmen seminar course University 101. Currently, Elizabeth is working on her MBA at the University of South Carolina.

Elizabeth began her job in the admissions office after working in the housing department as a graduate hall director at the University of South Carolina. While in graduate school, Elizabeth conducted research on student-faculty interaction and student’s sense of community in residence halls. Her research has been published in the Review of Higher Education and the Journal of College Student Affairs.

A native of Miami, FL, Elizabeth currently resides in Columbia, SC. In her free time she enjoys reading, going to the beach, and spending time with her family and friends.
