Biography - Laura L Short

Laura has been an elementary teacher for over 30 years. She has taught in both private and public schools. She is currently a fourth grade teacher in a small urban school district, in south Kansas City, MO. Laura teaches Math, Writing, Reading, Social Studies and Science. She has also been trained in the eMINTS program. This is a program that utilizes technology, as well as other educational tools, to enhance student learning. Laura graduated from Avila University, with a major in Special Education/Elementary grades K thru 8. She received her Master’s from Webster University.

Laura lives in Kansas City, MO. with her husband, John, and daughter, Susan. Their oldest daughter, Jessica, lives in South Carolina with her husband.
