Biography - Julia A Burlette


Julia Burlette received her BA degree from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana and went on to earn her MA degree in History from Louisiana State University. As a full time instructor with APUS, she has taught HIST101 (American History to 1877), HIST102 (American History from 1877), HIST300 (Research Methods in History), HIST420 (Colonial America), MILH320 (The Revolutionary War), and MILH325 (Amerindian Warfare). Additionally, Julia created and teaches HIST308 (European Colonialism) and MILH318 (The French and Indian War).

Julia currently resides in Fredericksburg, VA with her husband and daughter. In her spare time she enjoys riding her motorcycle, cooking, and watching football (particularly LSU and the New Orleans Saints).
