Walter N Clements

Walter N. Clements, CPP is the Associate Director of Global Security for The Procter & Gamble Company, headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. Clements has been with P & G since 1990, and currently leads the Global Security Program Management Department. He has responsibility for key corporate security programs on a global basis including supply chain security, threat and risk assessment and management, crisis management, special investigations, government program compliance, training, incident reporting and management, intelligence analysis, and brand protection and anti-counterfeiting. He travels frequently, and has worked in numerous countries in Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia, and Latin America.

Prior to joining Procter & Gamble, Mr. Clements served from 1984 to 1990 as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Indianapolis, IN and New York, NY. He was primarily assigned to foreign counterintelligence matters and organized crime matters, including several undercover assignments. Before joining the FBI, Mr. Clements served for eleven years as a police officer and sergeant with the Millville, New Jersey police department where he received the MPD Valor Award.

In addition to his work at Procter & Gamble, Mr. Clements serves as a firefighter with the West Chester, Ohio fire department, and teaches missionary groups in the subjects of overseas travel security, hostage survival, kidnap avoidance, and worst case scenario survival. Mr. Clements has served as a Certified Police Instructor in both New Jersey and Ohio.

Mr. Clements holds a BA degree in Criminal Justice from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and a MA in Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University. In addition, he holds Leadership Certificates from Georgetown University and Kellogg School of Management and is a graduate of the New Jersey State Police Academy, the FBI Academy, the Academy for Advanced Threat Assessment and Management, and the Smith and Wesson Academy. Mr. Clements is a Board Certified Protection Professional (ASIS). He is a member of the FBI Agents Association, the Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI, Association of Hostage Negotiators, Interpol Intellectual Property Crime Action Group, Fellowship of Christian Firefighters, and the American Society for Industrial Security International (ASIS).

Mr. Clements has been a keynote speaker at the FBI Academy, Interpol General Assembly in Lyon, France, US State Department conferences, ASIS European Conferences in Spain, Denmark, and France, International Anti-Counterfeit Coalition conferences and various business related conferences. He has authored articles related to missionary safety in hostile countries, and was a contributing author to a text on terrorism.
