Craig S Magee

Craig is an Adjunct Faculty member in the Transportation & Logistics Management program. He is completing a Doctor of Business Management (DBA) in Leadership at Walden University. His other academic achievements include a MBA in Logistics from Touro University International and hold a Bachelors of Arts degree in Management from American Military University. He is a U.S. Army veteran with 20 years of dedicated service; 16 of those years he served in Healthcare Logistics Management and 4 years in Communications.

He is a graduate of the United States Army Medical Materiel Agency, Logistics Management-Residency, Fort Detrick, Maryland. During this time he trained throughout the United States and Europe in Advanced Logistics and Supply Chain Technology where he focused on Global Business Practices and Strategic Management.

After retirement, Craig pursued his passion for logistics management and went to work for a Third Party Logistics (3PL) Company; from there, he accepted an offer to work in distribution management for a Big Box retailer, in one of its regional distribution centers. His military and industry logistics experience spans more than 21 years. He also has extensive experience in reverse logistics.

Craig is currently employed with the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Senior Contracting Officer in the Acquisitions and Logistics Division. His professional affiliations are National Defense Transportation Association (NDTA) and the National Contract Management Association (NCMA).
