Biography - Shannon Voyles


Shannon Voyles received a BA in English from Hanover College (in southern Indiana) and a Masters of Education from Indiana Wesleyan University in an online format. She also completed 18 hours in graduate English and is currently working on her EdD in Educational Technology and the E-Learner.

She has worked as a high school English and American studies teacher and girls track coach. In addition, she also teaches online high school courses and online education and English courses at the undergraduate level.

She has attended numerous professional development conferences on a wide range of topics including online education, online discussion boards and online course development. She has presented at the National High Schools That Work Conference. Shannon and her husband, Dustin, live in a small town in Indiana. She has been teaching for APUS since 2007.
