Biography - Erin L Brescia


Erin Brescia graduated from Mount Olive College in 2003 with her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Communication, and from Fort Hays State University in 2007 with her Master’s of Liberal Studies degree with an English Concentration.

While working in the Office of Public Affairs at MOC, she wrote news releases and feature articles for campus magazines and newspapers across the state. She began writing fiction seriously around that time, and her first young adult novel was published in 2009.

Her interests include creative writing, 19th century female authors, Jane Austen, young adult writers such as Sarah Dessen and the 2009 Debs, Project Runway, pop culture, and useless trivia.

She currently resides in North Carolina with her husband and five-year-old daughter.
