Marsha K. Bass

Marsha K. Bass (Mrs. B) received a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications from Indiana University, Bloomington and was awarded the Excellence in Graduate Education Award upon completion of her Master of Science in Secondary Education from Indiana University, South Bend. She is currently a Doctoral Candidate at Argosy University with a concentration in Educational Leadership. She began her online teaching career in 2004 at Kaplan University and the Art Institute Online after serving as a secondary Language Arts instructor for Elkhart Community Schools (Indiana) for more than a decade. In addition, she serves as a technical and academic reviewer for the Computer Technology Division of Glencoe McGraw-Hill and co-authored an ancillary workbook highlighting English and math projects in conjunction with Microsoft Office 2003 software. Her most recent projects involved the iCheck series textbook for Microsoft Office 2007. "Mrs. B" finds the greatest satisfaction in working with students new to the online environment where she can be instrumental in preparing them for success in their online educational careers. An avid sports fan and Barbie collector, she enjoys spending her free time watching her own boys' sporting events, NFL football, traveling and just spending time with Steven, her husband of 17 years, their two boys, and her father who completes their extended household.
