Greg Meyer received a bachelor’s degree in aeronautics and mathematics from Miami University and a master’s in Management Information Systems from Bowie State. Greg retired from the United States Air Force on 1 June 2010. During this service, Greg earned the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal (4), Ariel Achievement Medal (5), Air Force Unit Commendation and numerous campaign ribbons. He has 20 years of military service, over 3000 flight hours and 250 combat hours. He was a key developer for the plan for KC-135 and KC-10 operations in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Greg was the Mobility Adviser for the Air Component Coordination Element for Operations Enduring Freedom. He devised an Information System that enabled coordination for mobility aircraft from 12 nations. He served as the course director at the highly selective U.S. Air Force KC-135 Weapons Instructor Course. Greg was honored on three different occasions as the Top Academic Instructor. Greg was born and raised in Saint Marys Pennsylvania. After attending Miami University OH, Greg joined the Air Force and attended navigator training. Once earning his wings, Greg was assigned as a KC-135 navigator at Robins AFB, Georgia, RAF Mildenhall England, McGuire AFB, New Jersey, and Fairchild AFB Washington. Greg and his wife Amy are proud parents of two boys, Seth and Ethan. Greg is passionate about education and developing techniques to use information systems to increase productivity.
