Rosalie Yezbick earned a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Knox College. She went on to earn a master’s in English from the University of Illinois at Springfield, where she wrote an award-winning thesis about the works of Charles Dickens. Her PhD coursework and qualifying exam at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana focused on the field of technical communication, and her dissertation relates theories of technical communication to the genre of baseball cards.
Rosalie taught composition, graphic design, and business writing classes for the University of Illinois from 1999 until 2004 and at Parkland College from 2001 through 2004. Rosalie taught composition and business writing classes online for Peninsula College from 2004 through 2007. She lives in St. Louis, Missouri with her husband and their two young children, Alex, 2 1/2 and Elsa, 1. When she isn’t working, Rosalie enjoys hiking, rowing, and watching baseball games.
