Biography - Ann Peretzman


Ann Peretzman received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from Wellesley College and a Masters of Business Administration from New York University’s Stern School for Business.

Ms. Peretzman is completing her seventh year as a first grade teacher at Littlebrook Elementary School in Princeton, New Jersey. She also holds the position of Math Content Specialist for the school.

Ms. Peretzman has presented professional development math workshops for teachers in her district. She has also conducted workshops for the PTO in math and early literacy assessments. She has been an active team member developing first grade math and language art curriculum and assessments for the district.

Prior to teaching, Ms. Peretzman spent sixteen years at the American Express Company in New York City as a marketing executive. Her last job before she left the company to raise her family was Vice President of Consumer Travel Marketing. In this capacity she oversaw the cruise and tourism marketing department for American Express.

During her career at American Express Ms. Peretzman held management positions in the Advertising, Gold Card Services and Reengineering Departments. Her most meaningful assignments were working on the "Do You Know Me?" television campaign and launching Gold Card Events and the Gold Card Year End Summary.

Ms. Peretzman is married and a mother of two children. She enjoys traveling, cooking, gardening, jogging and reading.
