Biography - Denise M Snee


Denise Snee received her bachelor’s degree in English from Providence College and her master’s degree in English from the University of Rhode Island. Mrs. Snee has served as an adjunct faculty member for St. Leo University, Old Dominion University, Averett University, and the University of Maryland (in Japan and Guam). While living in Japan, she taught conversational English and American customs at the Japanese Navy’s Second Service School and team-taught with Japanese English teachers on the junior high school level. Mrs. Snee was a summer fellow with the Rhode Island Writing Project and has lead teacher workshops on the teaching of writing. When she is not teaching, Mrs. Snee keeps busy chauffeuring her two children to and from soccer and basketball practices, horseback riding lessons, and Tae Kwon Do lessons. She also jogs with Guinness and Killian, her pet labs. Mrs. Snee is married to EODCM John Snee, a Navy EOD master tech.
