Resume and Cover Letter Review Program


Increase your chances of making it to the next step of the screening process by having a member of our career services team review your resume or cover letter. Each document is reviewed based on the following six criteria:

  • Readability
  • Contact information
  • Formatting
  • Organization of content
  • Uniformity
  • Grammar

To request a resume or cover letter review, email with:

  • First and last name
  • Student identification number
  • Email address on file with the university
  • Type of employment you are seeking (i.e. federal or private sector)
  • A document in Microsoft Word (pdf's, dropbox, and other formats will not be accepted)

You will receive an email confirming our receipt of your request. Comments and recommendations are typically provided within five business days from the date we receive a request. Prior to submitting your resume, you may find it helpful to check out the writing resumes and resume samples sections of our site.
