APUS Bachelor’s degree programs are designed to provide the knowledge, skills, and abilities for entry into the workforce, career transition, or graduate study. Bachelor’s degree programs require a minimum of 120 semester hours. In most cases these are comprised of general education, core, major, and elective requirements. In many programs, students have the opportunity to select specific concentrations within the degree program or opt for a general program. Students seeking a Bachelor’s degree may also elect to “minor” in a second academic discipline. Minors are described in the next chapter of the catalog.  All students who enroll in the Bachelor’s degree program must enroll in COLL100 – Foundations of Online Learning as their first course. The sections that follow outline the expected learning outcomes and the course requirements for completion of each degree program.
