The student who graduates with a minor in Psychology will be able to: - Define psychology and foundation of psychology.
- Discuss the history and foundation of psychology.
- Discuss psychological disorders and therapy and define the condition of “abnormal behavior”.
- Identify major theorists of developmental psychology and apply evaluation principles to developmental theories in a scientific format.
- Recognize and categorize the symptoms of major specific cognitive disorders.
- Differentiate between biological psychological conditions and personality disorders.
- Detect and apply various experimental designs in new situations.
- Evaluate and interpret how to design, execute, analyze, and interpret adequate psychological research.
