The student who graduates with a minor in Psychology will be able to:

  • Define psychology and foundation of psychology.
  • Discuss the history and foundation of psychology.
  • Discuss psychological disorders and therapy and define the condition of “abnormal behavior”.
  • Identify major theorists of developmental psychology and apply evaluation principles to developmental theories in a scientific format.
  • Recognize and categorize the symptoms of major specific cognitive disorders.
  • Differentiate between biological psychological conditions and personality disorders.
  • Detect and apply various experimental designs in new situations.
  • Evaluate and interpret how to design, execute, analyze, and interpret adequate psychological research.
