| Undergraduate Certificates |
Certificate programs are available to students who seek a shorter program focused on career development or knowledge of a specific discipline. Students are required to take a minimum of 15 semester hours, although some certificates may require up to 27 semester hours. In some cases credits from a certificate program can be applied to an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree. However, students are not permitted to enroll concurrently in multiple programs in the same academic discipline. For example a student who had previously completed a Fire Science Certificate might be able to apply his/her credits toward a Bachelor of Fire Science degree, however, a student may not be enrolled in a fire science certificate program and a fire science degree program at the same time.
