Maximum Course Load

All undergraduate students* may register for up to 15 credit hours with the same semester start date in a 16-week time period. Students who wish to complete more than 15 credit hours must obtain permission from the appropriate Department Chair to carry a credit hour "overload." That permission must be communicated to the Registrar's Office in order for additional registrations to be completed.

*Please note: For first-time degree seeking undergraduates, these hours must include RQ295 unless the student has petitioned and received a waiver for RQ295.  This waiver must be requested and granted prior to registering for other courses. No refunds will be granted for students who request and receive a waiver after registering for RQ295.
